In this pivotal role, you'll participate in the strategic migration of our ERP system from a legacy on-premises solution to a modern, cloud-based Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform. You'll contribute to the entire process, from project execution through post-launch stabilization and ongoing support. You'll leverage your expertise to lead both technical and functional specialists, cultivate strong partnerships across the organization and with technology partners, and ensure the successful deployment and ongoing optimization of this critical technology initiative.

Responsibilities:

  • Bridge the Gap Between Business & Technology: Elicit and document business needs from accounting stakeholders, translate them into actionable configuration and development specifications, and maintain clear documentation for ongoing reference.
  • Empower Users Through Training & Support: Develop and deliver training materials to equip accounting staff with the knowledge and skills to leverage D365 effectively. Provide ongoing support by troubleshooting issues, liaising for enhancements, and ensuring user satisfaction.
  • Drive Data-Driven Decisions: Work with Leslie’s analytics team to extract and analyze accounting data to generate insightful reports and dashboards for informed decision-making. Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for further process improvement through data analysis.
  • Ensure Compliance & Mitigate Risks: Implement and maintain internal controls within D365 to guarantee adherence to accounting regulations. Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and support internal/external audits with comprehensive documentation.
  • Project Management and Leadership: Manage project partners and IT vendors to ensure on-time and under-budget delivery. Track and report key project metrics to measure performance and success. May involve the leadership of on/offsite consultants and IT teams as needed.
  • Ethical Champion:Lead by example with the highest standards of conduct, integrity, and confidentiality, fostering a culture of trust and accountability.
  • Shape a Positive Culture: Champion company values, norms, and ethical conduct, creating an open and approachable environment that encourages feedback and interaction.
  • Empower and Collaborate: Maintain a strong yet approachable leadership style, fostering collaboration across teams to achieve shared business objectives.
  • Build Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate strong relationships with leadership and cross-functional teams, driving results and a culture of transparency and continuous improvement.
  • Results-Oriented Leader: Focus on achieving impactful outcomes, understanding that effort is a means to an end.
  • Deliver Excellence: Set high standards for quality in everything you do, ensuring exceptional results.
  • Strategic IT Visionary: Recognize the role of IT in supporting business growth and operational efficiency. Guide the strategic use of technology to maximize its impact.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • ERP Expertise (8+ years): Demonstrated success in implementing and supporting ERP systems, with a strong focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Retail & Wholesale Industry Knowledge (3+ years preferred): Familiarity with the unique challenges and opportunities within the consumer business landscape, including retail and wholesale sectors.
