Job summary

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) is seeking a part-time instructor to assist with course instruction and maintain accurate student records. Responsibilities include participating in student retention activities and handling instructional materials. Minimum qualifications include an AA degree or equivalent.

This temporary position offers an hourly rate of $17.20 and requires effective communication with faculty, staff, and students. Applications are accepted to establish an ongoing applicant pool until 06/30/2030.

Qualifications

• AA degree from a regionally accredited college in the specified discipline or equivalent experience and/or education.
• Ability to communicate effectively with college faculty, staff, and students.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the instruction of courses and be available to students within the contract period.
• Maintain accurate student records, including attendance and grades.
• Participate in orientations, division, and faculty meetings as requested.
• Participate in student retention activities as requested.
• Maintain instructional materials, labs, inventories, etc.
• Other duties as assigned.
