Job summary

JITECH in Miami, FL is seeking an Information Technology Specialist to own, maintain, and optimize the IT infrastructure across all departments. You will ensure reliability, security, and performance of servers, networks, VMs, and enterprise software within a cloud-based, collaborative environment.

As part of Finance and IT, you will enable engineers and business teams to operate efficiently by securing access to digital tools, supporting project delivery, and driving continuous IT improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of IT support, systems administration, or infrastructure management.
• Strong working knowledge of VMware, Microsoft Server environments, SharePoint, and cloud-based collaboration tools.
• Experience with Barracuda backup systems, Cisco networking equipment, and IP telephony.
• Familiarity with SDS2 and Bluebeam is an asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and Planner.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor servers, networks, and VMs for optimal performance and uptime.
• Configure and manage network infrastructure for office and remote users.
• Keep systems updated, patched, and compliant with security standards.
• Troubleshoot network/server issues and coordinate with third-party providers.
• Develop backup/disaster recovery procedures and verify backups.
• Manage Microsoft 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams for projects.
• Support SDS2 and Bluebeam environments, licenses, and plugins.
• Maintain hardware, thin clients, and equipment lifecycle tracking.
• Support IP phone systems, camera servers, and access control systems.
• Respond to IT requests promptly and communicate status clearly.
