Position Summary:

We are seeking an IT Systems Manager to lead the architecture, administration, and optimization of Telestream’s enterprise IT environment. Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, this highly visible role will serve as the company’s senior-most IT systems leader and will own the full lifecycle of corporate infrastructure and employee-facing technology systems.

You will manage a lean, agile team and be hands-on in overseeing systems operations, endpoint management, SaaS administration, and IT service delivery across a fully remote, globally distributed workforce. The ideal candidate blends technical depth with leadership presence and thrives in fast-moving environments where strategic thinking and tactical execution go hand-in-hand.

This role is separate from our Director of Security Governance & Compliance and is focused on operational IT systems leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the principal owner of Telestream’s enterprise IT infrastructure, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability across all internal systems.
• Architect and optimize endpoint management strategies (MacOS/Windows), SaaS platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Jira, Salesforce), and IT automation.
• Lead a small team of IT professionals and external partners to support day-to-day IT operations with a focus on service excellence and continuous improvement.
• Partner closely with the CTO and senior leadership to align IT strategy with company objectives, including support for M&A activity, growth, and internal tooling enhancements.
• Oversee lifecycle management for all corporate hardware and software assets, including procurement, configuration, and decommissioning.
• Drive modernization and automation of IT processes, including device provisioning, access control (Okta), and application lifecycle management.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of system architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Act as an escalation point for critical IT incidents, coordinating rapid response and resolution across teams and vendors.
• Ensure a secure, stable, and productive environment for employees while collaborating with the security and compliance team on infrastructure standards.

Qualifications:

• 8–10+ years of experience in IT systems management, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience managing corporate IT systems in a cloud-first, SaaS-centric, and remote-first organization.
• Hands-on expertise with modern endpoint management (Jamf, Kandji, Intune), SSO/IDaaS platforms (Okta), and collaboration tools.
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT architecture, networking fundamentals, and infrastructure-as-a-service.
• Experience managing Microsoft Office and Google Workspaces, including Teams.
• Experience with Salesforce administration and support.
• Experience with networking across multiple sites, including VPN and site-to-site connectivity.
• Track record of leading successful IT modernization efforts and vendor/tool evaluations.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, project ownership, and operational discipline.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to partner effectively across functions and influence at all levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline required; relevant certifications a plus.
