Job summary

S2Technologies is seeking an Information Technology System Engineer (Tactical) with active Secret clearance and TS eligibility to install, test, and support Windows and Android-based systems, and to assess vulnerabilities across networks and standalone assets.

The role focuses on building TACLAN images, conducting risk assessments, and generating documentation to support IATT and IATO, while coordinating with J2/J6 teams and external partners to advance IT modernization and accreditation efforts.

Qualifications

• 5 years of System Administrator experience at the NOC level.
• Experience with VMware server virtualization including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Experience configuring IT assets per DISA STIGs and NSA SNACs.
• Experience with DoD DIACAP accreditation.
• Experience in configuring/networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Ability to run DoD-approved IA tools to assess vulnerabilities and provide reporting.

Responsibilities

• Installs, tests, and supports Windows and Android-based systems and TACLAN Images.
• Performs vulnerability scanning, remediation, and reporting for IATT/IATO preparation.
• Develops SOPs and accreditation documentation; coordinates with J2/J6 and external partners.
