Job summary

Catalyst Mobility, formerly CALSTART, seeks a contracted Microsoft 365 Systems Engineer to design and implement MS365-based technologies, migrate data, and strengthen security. The role includes project discovery, planning, and hands-on execution while contributing to policy and compliance efforts.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in IT, a Bachelor's or equivalent, MS365 experience/certifications, and strong communications skills. This 1099 contract pays $50-$60 per hour in the United States.

About The Role:

This contracted position is intended to help us design and implement several Microsoft 365-based technologies/solutions, as well assist with existing system maintenance, development, and hardening. An ideal candidate would have solid understanding of and experience with: AD/M365 identity, cloud migration, data migration, data security, and cybersecurity policy.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Discovery and planning of technical projects


• Leading/executing technical projects


• Designing migration paths and leading/executing them


• Assisting with implementation design/planning, as well as contributing to their execution


• Assist with policy development and compliance


• Systems hardening and maintenance

Qualifications:

• 7+years experience


• Bachelor's or equivalent work experience


• Microsoft systems engineer/M365 experience/certs


• Excellent communications skills


• Project planning/coordination

Desired Qualifications:

• Wide range of systems administration/engineering skills, both within M365 stack and beyond it (legacy AD, VM technologies, general IT knowledge).

$50 - $60 an hour

This is a 1099 contract paying $50 - $60 per hour
