Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics seeks a Systems Analyst I for on-site work in Lynnwood, WA or Burbank, CA. The role supports and maintains engineering tools, manages user accounts, and assists with IT operations and application upgrades.

Responsibilities include incident handling, access provisioning, software license management, and collaboration with engineering teams. A background in system administration and MS environments is expected.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in system administration, including server application installations, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Experience with AD/AAD/SharePoint and ITSM processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft operating systems and deployments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Client Services support via ticketing systems, Hotline, or other methods.
  • Handle ITSM incidents and service requests in Identity and Access Management.
  • Fulfills end user requests for access to enterprise applications and systems.
  • Install and configure approved hardware and software per Crane policies.
  • Manage software licenses and renewals to align with engineering needs.
  • Provide first-line IT Operations support and triage questions to senior staff.
  • Maintain software licensing records for compliance.
  • Document software purchasing and user cost centers.
  • Test and troubleshoot applications for assigned areas.
  • Interface with suppliers and users to ensure software meets requirements.
  • Support and maintain custom applications and roadmaps for consolidation and upgrades.
  • Assist in project planning, implementation and training for new apps.

The Systems Analyst I is an individual contributor who works under direct supervision and is responsible for testing, supporting and maintaining Crane AE Engineering tools and applications. This includes the fulfillment of, but is not limited to, creating new accounts, moving/changing accounts, transfer of accounts, and leave of absences as it pertains to network user accounts that live in Crane A&E’s Active Directory (AD), Azure Active Directory (AAD), and Sharepoint.

Essential Functions
  • Provide Client Services support as assigned from ticketing systems, Hotline, or other methods.
  • Act on ITSM incident and service requests that fall into Identity and Access Management ITSM queue.
  • Fulfills end user requests that need access to respective / various enterprise applications and systems that interconnect and integrate with AD.
  • Install and configure approved hardware and software in adherence to Crane Aerospace & Electronics policies.
  • Purchase new/additional software licenses to match engineering requirements, usage, and ensure timely existing license renewal.
  • First layer of support of IT Operations related questions and helps triage questions to more senior team members.
  • Maintain Software Licensing records to ensure continued compliance with license terms.
  • Create and maintain records relating to software purchasing, including order receipts, users, cost centers.
  • Test and troubleshoot applications for assigned area utilizing the appropriate procedures and technologies.
  • Interface with suppliers and users to ensure standard software and applications meet specified functional requirements.
  • Support and maintain custom applications as well as support roadmaps for tools consolidation and upgrade.
  • Provide support for project planning, implementation and training for new applications and upgrades.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in system administration, including server application installations, configuration, and maintenance
  • Technical knowledge of computer equipment operation, testing, and maintenance, software installation, upgrading, and support.
  • Microsoft operating systems, computer deployments

This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
