Overview:

Sentara Health is looking for an IT Systems Analyst to join our Epic Team!

Location: Virginia Beach, VA

Work Shift: First (Days)

Role Summary:

Responsible for day-to-day support and optimization of software applications, including builds, upgrades, and system enhancements. Analyzes business and clinical needs, evaluates software releases and new products, and recommends solutions to optimize processes and reduce expenses. Possesses in-depth business, clinical, and application knowledge. Performs workflow assessments, develops system test plans, performs testing, and maintains documentation. Handles problem, incident, change management, and service requests. Provides on-call support and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure application integration. Manages smaller projects or components of larger projects.

Responsibilities include:

1. Working independently with minimal supervision.
2. Addressing complex problems with effective solutions.
3. Influencing team members through expertise and clear communication.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred; relevant experience can substitute for education (3 years with degree, 5+ years without).
• Certifications: No specific requirements; Epic certification is a plus.
• Experience: Strong background in clinical/business operations, workflow assessments, application integration, testing, and familiarity with Epic or cardiology is advantageous.

Compensation & Benefits:

Base pay ranges from $61,235.20 to $102,065.60, with potential additional compensation such as shift differentials, overtime, and bonuses.
