Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, MIS, or related field; equivalent combination may be considered.
• Experience: Windows Server administration, network administration and troubleshooting, SQL Server administration and MS 365 administration.
• VB.NET and/or C# programming knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to explore new technologies to improve manufacturing environments; ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot servers, computers, network equipment, printers, and other IT hardware.
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, file shares, user accounts, permissions, and related systems.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure (switches, wireless access points, firewalls, VPN, cabling).
• Monitor system performance, availability, backups, security, and storage capacity.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, applications, databases, and network-related issues.
• Support SQL Server databases, scheduled jobs, backups, permissions, and related applications.
• Assist with debugging/maintaining VB6/VB.NET/C# applications and SQL programming when needed.
• Install, configure, update, and support business/manufacturing software.
• Maintain system documentation, inventories, network diagrams, and SOPs.
• Provide end-user training and technical support; follow cybersecurity/disaster-recovery procedures.
• Provide after-hours or emergency support when necessary.
