Job summary

Ashland Conveyor Products in Ohio is seeking an IT System Administrator to provide comprehensive IT support across help desk, desktop, system administration, network, database, and security. The role focuses on maintaining secure, reliable systems and enabling efficient operations at the Woodsage Holland OH facility.

You will work with the IT Manager on shared services, licensing, ERP user support, and project roll-outs, ensuring production systems stay available and compliant with security

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT roles covering support, admin, network, and security.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and ERP user support preferred.
• Strong communication skills and team collaboration.
• Knowledge of IT security best practices and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes and responds to issues in the ticketing system.
• Provide technical support and assistance to end-users.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and escalate complex problems.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Ensure desktop OS and software applications are available and functioning.
• Provide ERP operational support and manage security framework.
• Collaborate with IT Manager on shared services, licensing, AI model roll-out and projects.
