Job summary

ESAero in San Luis Obispo, CA is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to manage and secure the company’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and software. The role emphasizes discretion in IT solutions affecting cybersecurity, compliance, and operational efficiency.

You will collaborate across departments to develop IT strategies, maintain regulatory compliance, and drive improvements in IT processes while supporting manufacturing and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent combination with 3+ years of experience.
• Working knowledge of AD, M365, and Group Policy Management.
• Experience with enterprise IT administration and documentation of best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize company IT infrastructure including networks and servers.
• Oversee day-to-day IT ticket system management and issue resolutions.
• Support cybersecurity policies and regulatory compliance (NIST 800-171, CMMC).
• Assist with deployment of software updates and remote-working IT solutions.
• Maintain system performance and troubleshoot software/hardware/connectivity issues.
• Develop IT processes, track KPIs, and update documentation.
