Job summary

Medely is seeking an IT engineer to automate access control, implement least-privilege by default, and deliver auditable IAM processes. This hybrid role blends hands-on IT generalist duties with systems administration and automation architecture.

You will own identity access management with Okta as the control plane (SSO, SCIM, RBAC, access reviews) and build automation workflows in n8n and Okta Workflows to remove manual work.

Qualifications

• Experience with identity access management and access control
• Familiarity with Okta workflows or similar automation tools
• Proficient device management for macOS and Windows

Job description

• You'll be the engineer who makes access control automatic, auditable, and least-privilege by default.
• This role is a hybrid: part hands-on IT generalist, part IT Systems Administrator, and part automation architect.
• You'll work with a modern SaaS stack including Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Notion, and more.

What You'll Own:

• Identity access management with Okta as the control plane, including SSO, SCIM, RBAC, and access reviews.
• Automation workflows in n8n, Okta Workflows, and the ticketing platform to remove manual work.
• Device management across macOS and Windows using MDM and Okta Device Trust.

What Success Looks Like:

• Deliver a provisioning gap report and ship 2-3 production automations within the first 90 days.
• Make Okta the provisioning source for all eligible apps and automate access requests.
• Achieve near 100% device compliance and trust coverage within 12 months.
