Empirical Systems Aerospace, Inc. is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to manage, optimize, and secure the company’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and software systems.

This role requires independent judgment on IT solutions affecting business operations and cybersecurity adequacy. Responsibilities include managing ticketing, assisting with network and server maintenance, deploying software updates, enabling remote work, maintaining compliance with NIST 800-171 and CMMC, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with enterprise IT administration.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Group Policy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze problems and implement IT solutions.
• Experience with cybersecurity policies and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize IT infrastructure across networks, servers, and software.
• Oversee day-to-day IT ticketing and incident management.
• Assist with network/server maintenance and software updates.
• Support remote-working IT solutions and wireless networks.
• Coordinate IT issue resolution with other teams.
• Help maintain regulatory compliance (NIST 800-171 and CMMC).
• Develop and document IT processes and KPI tracking.
• Provide user training and support.

IT Systems Administrator

JobSummary:

The IT Systems Administratoris responsible formanaging, optimizing, and securing the company’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and software systems. This role requires exercising discretion and independent judgmentregardingIT solutions that directlyimpactbusiness operations, cybersecurity, compliance, and system efficiency. The IT Systems Administrator collaborates across departments to develop strategies,maintainregulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvements in IT processes.

JobDuties and Responsibilities:

• Broad variety of operations administration duties associated with computer systems and IT infrastructure.

• Overseeing day to day management of IT task ticket system

• Assistwith the maintenance and management of network servers and technology tools

• Assistwith the deployment of software updates

• Setup accounts and workstations.

• Identifyand setup user trainings.

• Identifyand support cybersecurity policies and initiatives.

• Monitor system performance andmaintainsystems according to requirements

• Troubleshoot user software/hardware/connectivity issues

• Helpestablishremote-working networked IT solutions

• Help design, upgrade, andmaintainwireless network

• Support manufacturing, production, quality, and related engineering efforts

• Troubleshoot issues and outages

• Coordinate IT issue resolutions with other IT resources asrequired

• Assistwith development of processes and procedures

• Track IT KPI’s

• Creation and updating of documentation

• Assistwith user training

• Support company AS9100 certification

• Maintain and support NIST 800-171 and CMMC certification and compliance

Required Qualifications and Duties:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field; OR an equivalent combination of education and a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.

• Computer networks training

• Experience with Enterprise IT admin

• Formal computer science training is a plus

• A working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365 Administration, and Group Policy Management

• Writing documentation of Best Practices

• Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers.

• Proven ability to analyze and solve problems

• Mustpossesssolid organizational skills

• ERP systems experience is desirable
