CesiumAstro in Florida is seeking an Information Technology (IT) Systems Administrator II to be the face of the IT department for the local office. You will manage IT systems, assist staff from onboarding to engineering tasks, and support daily IT operations for a hands-on, collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, articulate, and eager to learn, with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

We are looking to add anInformation Technology (IT) Systems Administrator II to our team. In this position, you will be the face of the IT department for our Florida office. You will interact with staff of all levels, from onboarding new hires to assisting seasoned engineers. Responsible for IT systems, including hardware management, user support, administration, software licensing, compliance with federal standards, and implementing IT processes and procedures. Daily responsibilities include upgrading and maintaining data management systems, choosing computers and hardware upgrades, setting up new users, maintaining the local servers, and assisting users with IT tasks and issues. The ideal candidate is extremely organized, articulate, flexible, quick to grasp business needs, a team player, an excellent written and oral communicator, and eager to learn.
