Golden Nugget Lake Charles is a luxury casino-resort that opened in December 2014. The property contains nearly 1,100 well-appointed hotel rooms and suites with private balconies available. Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Under the direction of the IT Manager, the incumbent will:
• Exhibit all conduct in accordance with Louisiana Gaming regulations and Golden Nugget policies and procedures, as well as all Federal and State laws and regulations.
• Maintain excellent communication skills and interpersonal relations with guests, vendors, visitors and Golden Nugget staff.
• Respond to the needs and questions of network users concerning their access to resources on the network and the operation of various software programs.
• Remain abreast of changes in user and system software and hardware requirements.
• Monitor and administer the network for the staff of the Golden Nugget Lake Charles, keeping system information up-to-date in a network log.
• Update the operating system as required.
• Load and update software applications as required.
• Manage memory usage of the network, network printing, and network technical resources.
• Install and maintain peripheral equipment.
• Display professional conduct, sound judgment, the highest level of professional integrity and a strong work ethic.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
• Bachelors Degree in IT or a related field strongly preferred;
• Three (3) years related work experience performing the essential functions identified;
• A+, Network+, Microsoft and Cisco certifications strongly preferred.

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Must have solid planning, time management, decision-making, organization, and interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced multi-tasking, hands-on environment. Ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all individuals. Ability to work overtime, irregular hours and occasionally travel.
