Job summary

CaptiveAire is seeking an IT Infrastructure Technician to provide tier 1 remote and local technology support for a national manufacturing company operating 6 facilities and 90+ sales offices across the US. The role requires onsite work at our Raleigh corporate office and involves hardware installation, inventory, and asset management.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of professional IT support experience, strong Windows/macOS/iOS skills, and solid networking knowledge.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional IT support experience, including hands-on desktop, endpoint, or systems support.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Windows PCs, Apple hardware, macOS, and iOS in a corporate environment.
• Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, OS, peripherals, and connectivity problems.
• Strong TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, networking, VPN, and network troubleshooting knowledge.
• Experience supporting end users in a production environment where reliability and communication are essential.

Summary

The IT Infrastructure Technician will be tasked with providing tier 1 remote and local technology support for this national manufacturing company which operates 6 manufacturing facilities and 90+ sales offices across the US. Employee will also assist with hardware installation, inventory and asset management along with other information technology management related tasks. This is not a remote role and will be based working out of our corporate office in Raleigh.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional IT support experience, including substantial hands-on desktop, endpoint, or systems support responsibilities.
• Extensive hands-on experience supporting Windows PCs, Apple hardware, macOS, and iOS in a corporate environment.
• Demonstrated ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, operating system, peripheral, and connectivity problems.
• Solid working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, wired and wireless networking, VPN connectivity, and network troubleshooting.
• Experience troubleshooting network-connected workstations, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and other endpoints.
• Ability to take ownership of technical problems from initial diagnosis through resolution, escalating appropriately when necessary.
• Experience supporting end users in a production business environment where reliability, responsiveness, and professional communication are essential.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are a must.
• Experience working with M365, Exchange online, Entra and/or Active Directory a big plus, but not required.
