BlueWave Express Car Wash and ClearWater Express Wash are seeking a hands-on IT Support Technician (Field) to travel between wash sites and offices across Texas. You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware, software, POS systems, pay stations, and network equipment while providing remote support when needed.

The role requires 1+ year IT support experience, basic TCP/IP and VoIP knowledge, and a valid Texas driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 1+ year IT support, help desk, or field technician experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking and VoIP devices.
• Experience with POS systems, security cameras, or multi-site environments is a plus.
• Comfortable with Windows and Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Travel to wash sites and office locations across the region to provide on-site IT support.
• Install, set up, and troubleshoot PCs, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• Support POS systems, pay stations, and other site equipment used daily by guests and team members.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and desktop application issues.
• Troubleshoot IP phones, VoIP devices, and IP security cameras.
• Install, terminate, and test network cabling; assist with basic network setup.

Our sites run on technology, from point-of-sale (POS) terminals and pay stations to cameras, phones, and networks. When something goes down, our guests and team members feel it right away. We’re looking for a hands-on IT Support Technician who likes being on the move, solving problems on the spot, and keeping our washes and offices running smoothly.

Position Summary

The IT Support Technician is our field-based support for corporate, operations, maintenance, and development teams. You’ll travel between our wash sites and office locations to install, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware, software, POS systems, and network equipment. You’ll also support users remotely. This role is a good fit for someone who’s tech-savvy, customer-focused, and comfortable working both on their own and as part of a team.

What You'll Do

• Travel to wash sites and office locations across the region to provide on-site IT support
• Install, set up, and troubleshoot PCs, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
• Support POS systems, pay stations, and other site equipment that guests and team members use every day
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and desktop application issues
• Troubleshoot IP phones, VoIP devices, and IP security cameras
• Install, terminate, and test network cabling, and help with basic network setup and connectivity issues
• Help set up technology for new site openings and acquisitions
• Provide remote support by phone, email, and remote-access tools
• Track and document issues, fixes, and equipment
• Identify issues that need urgent attention and elevate them
• Provide after-hours and on-call support for urgent issues

Qualifications: What You Bring

• 1+ year of IT support, help desk, or field technician experience preferred
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking and VoIP devices
• Experience with POS systems, security camera systems, or retail/multi-site environments is a plus
• Comfortable with Windows and Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365
• Able to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical team members
• Professional, positive attitude and strong customer service skills
• Organized and able to manage your time across multiple locations
• Valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving record (required)
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work both indoors and outdoors at wash sites
• Available for after-hours and on-call support when needed
