Job summary

Cheyenne Urological PC in Cheyenne, WY is seeking an as-needed, part-time IT Support Specialist to keep our team productive and our technology running smoothly. You will provide hands-on support in a medical office environment, troubleshoot hardware and software, and collaborate with vendors as needed.

The role is primarily in person, with occasional remote support and flexible scheduling. Prior healthcare IT experience is preferred; compensation is negotiable based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical office IT support preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with networking, firewalls, Wi-Fi, and backup systems.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve computer hardware and software issues.
• Support printers, scanners, phones, and other office devices.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and internet-related problems.
• Assist with user setup, password resets, and workstation configuration.
• Provide support for Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
• Coordinate with external vendors when necessary.
• Help safeguard data security and maintain HIPAA compliance.
• Install updates and set up new equipment as needed.
• Deliver remote support when possible and on-site support when required.
• Respond promptly to IT issues to keep our providers and staff working efficiently.

Must have:

• Previous IT support experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred.
