Quapaw Nation Careers in Quapaw, Oklahoma is looking for a technology support specialist to handle IT services, support hardware/software issues, and assist with the maintenance of their website. Responsibilities include troubleshooting technical problems, coordinating with department projects, and managing hardware installations.
Applicants should have a background in technology support, preferably with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. The role requires knowledge of various computer software including Microsoft Office and strong attention to detail. This position does not require remote work and offers a collaborative environment.
Performs a variety of moderately complex information technology support duties to ensure the effective delivery of technology services and to provide development and maintenance support for the Quapaw Nation’s website. This position monitors, operates, and assists others in the use of computer hardware, software, and peripherals. Utilizes computer equipment, software, and diagnostic tools to perform a broad range of technical support, equipment maintenance and repair, and computer operations tasks.
Work is performed primarily in an office environment. The position requires the ability to work respectfully and effectively within a diverse cultural setting due to the sensitive nature of the work.
