Job summary

MedCura Health, Inc. seeks an IT Support Specialist to assist staff with hardware, software, and related systems, ensuring reliable operations and effective technology use.

You will deploy and maintain PCs and software, set up user accounts, provide end-user training, and resolve technical issues in a high-volume environment.

You will coordinate IT activities, track equipment inventory, follow procedures, and work with vendors to address system needs and security concerns.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent in a computer science-related field, or two years in an information systems role with healthcare/financial/clinical experience.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to planning and coordination of IT activities in a high-volume technical services environment.
  • Resolve technical issues to maintain smooth daily operations.
  • Manage deployment and maintenance of hardware and software including PCs, OS, applications, and office technology.
  • Install new technology such as operating systems, software, desktops, laptops, tablets, and related equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance on phones, computers, printers, network components, and other devices.
  • Provide instruction on software and hardware use to end users.
  • Set up user accounts and access levels for new personnel.
  • Conduct system checks to identify potential security concerns.
  • Follow established IT procedures and assist with organizational technology practices.
  • Coordinate system connections with external entities including data-exchange activities.
  • Work with technology vendors to address system needs and resolve technical matters.
  • Maintain accurate equipment inventory including tagging, labeling, and license tracking.
  • Provide routine communication to leadership, department heads, and end users regarding IT-related activities.

Overview
