Enterprise Electronics Corporation in Enterprise, Alabama is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist with a background in Computer and Information Science to provide comprehensive technical support, troubleshoot software and hardware issues, and assist in maintaining our IT infrastructure.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and a customer-focused approach; you will work with Windows, Linux, and diverse network environments to support end-users and ensure reliable IT

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Computer and Information Science with 3 years CS support experience.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, DHCP, LAN/WAN, and VPN management.
• Experience with Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies like Hyper‑V, Proxmox, and VMware.
• Knowledge of network segmentation, firewalls and endpoint protection.

The IT Support Specialist will provide comprehensive technical support, troubleshoot software and hardware issues, and assist in maintaining our IT infrastructure. The position requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-focused approach to ensure seamless technology operations across the organization. The role also offers an opportunity to work with a diverse range of systems, including Windows, Linux, and network environments, supporting end-users and maintaining critical IT services.

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• Associate Degree in Computer and Information Science
• 3 years of Computer and Information Science support experience
• Strong understanding of computer networking concepts including TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, DHCP, LAN/WAN, and VPN management
• Proficiency in operating systems such as Microsoft Windows (including Windows Server) and Linux
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as Hyper‑V, Proxmox, and VMWare
• Knowledge of network segmentation, including firewalls, LANs, and endpoint protection platforms
