Akkodis is partnering with a local entity in the trucking business to hire a full-time/jack of all trades field technician responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure.

Expected areas of focus:

• Break Fix with / OS
• Office 365
• Software Update/Installs (New Deploy)
• Hard Drives
• Screen Replacements

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide desktop support to end users.
• Hardware and peripheral support
• Office and other software installation and support
• Printer and driver support
• Hardware imaging and deployment
• Troubleshoot network connection issues
• Escalate complex issues to tier II for resolution
• Research and collaborate with Tier II as needed
• User login management across platforms
• Security assignments
• Manage user access issues
• Inventory management
• Assist with budget preparation
• Recycle decommissioned hardware
• Conduct regular hardware inspections
• Perform regular site visits

Travel around the region on a regular 4-6 week schedule.

Home base is Phoenix, AZ.

Other locations include Tucson, Flagstaff, Bellemont, El Paso (TX), and Cahokia, IL.

Overnight stays are expected about once a month, typically 1-2 nights.

Potential requests to travel outside the region (e.g., West Texas, Illinois).

In-region travel would be using a personal vehicle, with mileage reimbursement.

Reimbursements include meals and overnight stays.
