Amazon.com Services LLC is hiring an IT Support Engineer I for Ops Tech Solutions (OTS) in Oklahoma. You will implement technical solutions and provide high-quality support for hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software.

You will troubleshoot straightforward problems and help drive IT solutions across multiple buildings and remote sites. The role involves networking, systems administration, and incident resolution with travel within the local region.

Qualifications

• 1+ year Windows Server technologies experience (AD/DFS/Print/SCCM).
• 2+ years troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment.
• 2+ years PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation.
• 1+ years IT client, server, and network service delivery experience.
• 2+ years networking (DNS/DHCP/SSL/TCP/IP).
• 2+ years Windows/Mac/Linux OS support experience.
• 2+ years supporting and maintaining a corporate network environment.

Responsibilities

• Network engineering and troubleshooting across diverse software/hardware environments.
• Ensure infrastructure networking and computing systems are available during production hours.

About The Role

As an IT Support Engineer I, you will use your knowledge and specialized skills to implement technical solutions and provide high quality support for computer hardware, operating systems, or enterprise application software. You are able to determine when it is appropriate to deviate from a standard practice to accomplish the desired result. You can troubleshoot and solve straightforward problems that do not have defined SOPs.

Key job responsibilities

• Network engineering and troubleshooting, data cabling and systems administration in a variety of software and hardware environments.
• Ensuring infrastructure networking and computing systems remain available during production hours.
• Interacting with management and staff to provide analytical and technical assistance for continuous improvement of IT solutions.
• Managing local technical projects.
• Maintaining or creating policies, procedures, and processes.
• Identifying root-causes of operational issues and process inefficiencies.
• Moving up to 49lbs as well as standing and walking during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
• Supporting customers from multiple buildings in the area, as well as remote customers.
• Traveling within your local or regional area to support our customers.

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of Windows Server technologies: AD, DFS, Print Services, SCCM experience
• 2+ years of troubleshooting in a multi-user high availability environment experience
• 2+ years of PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment and liquidation experience
• 1+ years of IT client, server, and network service delivery experience
• 2+ years of networking (such as DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, and TCP/IP) experience
• 2+ years of corporate setting Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience
• 2+ years of supporting and maintaining a corporate network environment experience
• High school or equivalent diploma

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of computer networking experience
• Experience supporting video conference and teleconference equipment

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
