Overview

At Avance Care, we are committed to delivering exceptional healthcare services with a focus on innovation, compassion, and efficiency. Our IT team plays a critical role in supporting our operations and ensuring seamless technology experiences for our staff and patients alike.

The IT Support Engineer will provide first-level technical support to Avance Care personnel, ensuring timely resolution of support desk tickets in accordance with established SLAs. This role is essential to maintaining the functionality and security of our IT infrastructure.

Selected Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to all personnel across the organization
  • Triage, resolve, document, and escalate support desk tickets as needed
  • Administer and manage software and hardware systems including:
    • Desktop and laptop computers
    • Microsoft Office 365 and Azure
    • Single Sign-On systems
    • Ticketing and monitoring platforms
  • Create and manage user accounts in Active Directory, Exchange, and other systems
  • Set up and configure new user laptops and desktops
  • Maintain and troubleshoot computer equipment, printers, and network connectivity
  • Manage Microsoft Active Directory and VOIP deployments (local and cloud-based)
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure compliance with usage standards
  • Communicate technology best practices and policies to staff
  • Support imaging and configuration of company devices

Target candidates should bring an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in an IT Support role.

Priorities:

  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Windows 10 and computer hardware
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 suite
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Copper, fiber, and wireless networking
    • Network switches and firewalls
    • VoIP telephone systems (moves, adds, changes)
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and HIPAA compliance
