Job summary
Amazon is hiring an IT Support Associate II to assist the operations team with resolving technical problems across Amazon Operations facilities in a defined geographic area. You will help maintain IT equipment, handle support requests, and assist in training new hires while continuously learning new technologies.
The role involves local travel, day and night shifts, and a casual dress code. Starting pay is hourly and based on experience and location, with comprehensive benefits and 401(k)
Qualifications
- Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems.
- Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service.
- 1+ years of Windows, Mac or Linux operating systems support experience.
Responsibilities
- Allocating, maintaining, and troubleshooting of IT equipment used in Amazon Operations facilities.
- Handling support requests and procedures across the network.
- Assisting in training new hires.
- Continuous learning of new technologies.
- Supporting customers from multiple buildings in the area, as well as remote customers.

- Flexibility with schedule, shift rotation between days and nights.

- Traveling within your local or regional area to support our customers.
- Flexibility with schedule, shift rotation between days & nights
- Racing against time to get a critical scanner back online
- Setting up new laptops for incoming associates
- Problem-solving network connectivity challenges
- Collaborating with teams to implement technology improvements
- Being the go-to tech expert for our operations teams
- Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems
- Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
- Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service
- 1+ years of Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience or equivalent experience
- CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS, or other industry relevant certifications
- Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service
