Job summary

Corning Incorporated is seeking an MES Operations Lead to drive a global team responsible for Camstar/PAC MES solutions in a 24/7 manufacturing setting. You will supervise contractors and staff, manage incidents, and push for continuous improvement across operations.

The role requires a BS/MS in a related field or equivalent experience, plus 3+ years MES experience and 5+ years of leadership. Strong communication and cross-cultural collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Computer Science /Systems Management/IT Related field or experience accepted in lieu of degree
  • Minimum of 3 years MES experience
  • Minimum of 5 years leadership and project management experience
  • In-depth knowledge of industry best practices in application development
  • Experience working with IT systems in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work without close supervision
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural team
  • Ability to meet customer requirements with internal customers around the world

Role Purpose

The MES Operations Lead role will lead an international team of technical resources to be responsible for working with users and IT resources to support standardized Camstar/PAC MES solutions across a global environment.

The range for this position is $129,054.00 - $177,449.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
