Job summary

Westfield is offering a paid Specialty Intern Program in IT for ten weeks in Chicago, IL and Berkeley Heights, NJ. Interns will gain hands-on experience by working on real projects, learning from senior leaders and building a professional network.

The program runs June 7 through August 13, 2027, with classroom and on-the-job training, mentor support, and exposure to underwriting, claims and IT activities. Eligible students are invited to apply.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related programs.
• GPA 3.2 or higher preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Leadership experience through work, community service, athletics, clubs, or similar activities.
• Technically adept and digitally savvy.
• Ability to be onsite in the office four days a week.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze technical requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to implement solutions.
• Develop digital solutions and improve user experiences on digital channels.
• Contribute to software or systems engineering projects including coding and automation.
• Design and implement systems for network storage and cloud environments.
• Attend team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements.
