BAE Systems is looking for an experienced Information Technology (IT) Subject Matter Expert at a Senior levelto join a strong team supporting our government customer. This position will provide the ability to make a significant impact to the mission.

The IT Subject Matter Expert shall provide expert level support for the architecture, design, implementation and maintenance of IT systems, platforms and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical oversight of solutions, conduct code reviews, provide expert guidance on architecture.
  • Proactively provide recommendations to manage technical debt.
  • Recommend and lead innovations and serve in roles such as Enterprise/Systems/Solution Architect in a Scaled Agile environment.
  • Recommend development and DevSecOps practices and ensure adherence to practice through reviews.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, guiding the team through technical challenges and ensuring alignment with sprint goals.
  • Contribute to the refinement of user stories and acceptance criteria, ensuring that the team understands and delivers on technical requirements within the agile framework.
  • Responsible for technical guidance, ensuring the quality and consistency of deliverables produced by the contract team.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • 8+ Years experience with SharePoint including SharePoint Server version and SharePoint Online
  • 5+ Years experience with Power Platform
  • 2+ Years experience with ActiveDocs
  • ITIL V4 Foundation
  • Certification in Power Platform
  • At least one cloud fundamentals certification
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
