Job summary

Eccalon seeks a Senior Director of IT to lead all IT strategy, security, and operations for our Detroit‑area organization. You will manage enterprise systems, drive cybersecurity initiatives, and ensure alignment with business goals.

You will guide a diverse team, manage vendor partnerships, and oversee both cloud and on‑premise infrastructure while maintaining a strong security posture and data integrity across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer-related field.
• 10+ years in Information Technology.
• 5+ years in IT leadership or senior management.
• 5+ years with NIST 800-171/800-172 in regulated environments.
• Expertise in enterprise cybersecurity programs and risk management.
• Experience with penetration testing and third-party security vendors.
• Automation and scripting skills.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Willingness to travel to multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT projects aligned with organizational goals.
• Develop and maintain an IT strategy aligned with company direction.
• Lead cybersecurity programs, backups, and disaster recovery.
• Ensure NIST compliance and security posture assessments.
• Manage vendor relationships and IT staff across locations.
• Oversee helpdesk, IT operations, and security tooling.
• Drive IT modernization, automation, and cloud/on‑premise systems.
