Overview

As a member of the OptumRx Clinical Engagement Solutions team, the Sr. Capability Analyst will support the operational and technical needs of clinical communication platforms and client onboarding processes. This remote, contract-to-perm role focuses on application support, client configuration, and issue resolution across multiple pharmacy and clinical data products. The analyst will work closely with Agile Product Owners, Capability Managers, and business stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate client setup, system stability, and operational readiness.

Location: Telecommute | Job type: Contract | Salary: $32 - 42 per hour | Work hours: 8am to 5pm | Education: Bachelor’s

Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide Tier 1/Tier 2 support for clinical communication applications, including issue triage, resolution, and escalation.
  • Monitor system performance, data flows, and error logs to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Support onboarding and configuration of new clients and use cases.
  • Maintain setup documentation, configuration templates, and client-specific requirements.
  • Coordinate with product, IT, and business teams to ensure accurate and timely client deployments.
  • Participate in UAT and regression testing for new features and releases.
  • Validate data loads, mappings, and transformations for pharmacy and clinical datasets.
  • Maintain operational dashboards and reporting tools to track support metrics and client setup status.
  • Document SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge base articles for support and setup processes.
Required Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in application support, client services, or healthcare operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, pharmacy, information systems, or related field.
  • Familiarity with pharmacy data, clinical workflows, or healthcare IT systems.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
  • Basic SQL or data querying skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
Additional Information
