Job summary

T‑S Solutions is seeking a skilled software engineer to lead Agile projects within IIS/AWS and SharePoint environments, delivering secure, DoD-compliant applications for government clients. You will coordinate requirements, schedules, design documentation, coding, testing, and user acceptance.

The role requires a BS in IT, cybersecurity, CS, or related field, DoD clearance or eligibility, US citizenship, and strong communication across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, cybersecurity, CS, IS, data science, or SWE from ABET/NCAE institution.
• DAU DCWF WRC 451 System Administrator training.
• DoD security certifications listed or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead small software development projects using agile methods in IIS/AWS and SharePoint environments.
• Plan and coordinate software development activities: requirements, schedules, designs, coding, debugging, testing, and UAT.
• Establish SOPs for software development activities.
• AWS cloud administration: manage AWS (EC2, S3, CLI, CloudWatch), server admin support, verify STIGs, IIS, and SQL.
• Optimize web apps and ensure compliance with DoD requirements.
• Develop in C#, .NET, SharePoint, Angular, Node.js, JavaScript, CSS, Power Apps/Automate/BI; maintain legacy ASP.NET.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead small software development projects using agile methods to develop applications within the IIS/AWS framework, as well as developing in the SharePoint environment.
• Plan and coordinate execution of software development activities to include requirements elicitation, development of schedules, documenting designs, coding, debugging, testing, and facilitating user acceptance.
• Establish standard operating procedures for software development activities.
• AWS Cloud Administration: will manage the AWS environment (EC2, S3, Amazon CLI, CloudWatch, etc.) as well as act as a server admin as needed to support the servers, verify STIG settings, IIS, and SQL database.
• Optimize existing web applications and ensure applications comply with the Department of Defense.
• Application Development: Support application and system development which includes C# .Net, SharePoint, Angular, Node.js, JavaScript, CSS, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, etc., as well as supporting legacy applications in ASP.Net.

Education, Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or Software Engineering from an ABET accredited or NCAE designated institution.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret security clearance is highly desired, however candidates who are eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance will be considered. If the selected candidate does not hold an active clearance, he/she will receive a contingent offer. A start date will be established once an interim Secret clearance is granted.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from various work locations.
• Must maintain the capability to communicate with their supervisor and/or manager when not in the office.

Physical Requirements

• Sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, crouching, and kneeling.
• Reaching, handling, using equipment, keyboards, and mobile devices.
• Ability to lift items weighing up to 20 lbs.
