Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division seeks an IT Specialist (PLCYPLN) to join the Digital Networks and Applications Department in the Engineering, Infrastructure, & Device Mgmt. Division.

You will serve as an expert advisor on enterprise architecture framework, recommend forward-looking IT strategies, and help shape program IT infrastructure through design processes and automated tools. You will guide IT project managers in evaluating investments and participate in formal design

Responsabilités

• You will serve as an expert advisor on the identification and implementation of the enterprise architecture framework, which comprises a broad model of the program's hierarchy of IT business processes and their interrelationships.
• You will recommend forward-looking technical strategies and specific program initiatives required to implement this framework and achieve compliance with organizational architectures and IT strategies.
• You will lead efforts to select and/or develop IT system design processes, including hypotheses, enterprise models, artifacts and automated tools, to support the development of a consistent and cohesive program IT infrastructure.
• You will lead execution of enterprise architecture business review/validation processes to enforce the consistent use of the defined IT architecture framework and design processes, and leverage use of shared resources.
• You will guide IT project managers in reviewing/analyzing/defining new and proposed IT investments and initiatives (including development, modernization and enhancement) to ensure that the selected system design concepts are operationally feasible.
• You will lead/participate in independent quality reviews as part of the design review process and, as relevant, including "gates" or milestones at which goals must be met before the project proceeds.
