Job description

This position is located in the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation's (PBGC), Office of Information Technology (OIT), Information Technology Infrastructure Operations Department (ITIOD), Information Infrastructure Assurance Division (ITIOAD).

All qualification and eligibility requirements must be met by the announcement closing date. To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience qualifications for the grade at which you are requesting consideration. Specialized Experience: Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the private sector administering, managing, or providing technical expertise for complex Information Technology (IT) security activities, programs, or operations.

Examples include:

• defining security requirements and assessing proposed new technologies and solution systems for the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) compliance
• developing and executing plans to assess privacy and security controls
• overseeing information security, audit and control programs
• implementing, managing and operating security tools such as BigFix, IronPort and the Physical Access Control and Surveillance System (PACSS)

In addition to meeting the specialized experience requirements described above, your IT experience will be evaluated and expected to include experience in the following competencies:
