Job summary

DCSA's Industrial Security Office is seeking Information Systems Security Professionals (ISSP) to oversee complex information assurance and cyber-related activities at cleared contractor sites nationwide. The ISSP will ensure security managers understand and implement the controls required to protect classified information.

Candidates must be U.S. citizens, able to obtain/maintain the necessary security clearance, and may participate in situational telework.

Job description

DCSA's Industrial Security Office is looking for Information Systems Security Professionals (ISSP) with responsibility for oversight of complex information assurance and cyber related activities at cleared contractor sites across the country. The ISSP employs technical knowledge and interpersonal skills to ensure information systems security managers understand and implement the technical controls and processes required to protect classified information.

• This is a Drug Testing designated position
• Position is a (DCIPS) position in the Excepted Service under U.S.C. 1601
• Work Schedule: Full Time
• Overtime: Occasionally
• Tour of Duty: Flexible
• PCS (Permanent Change of Station): Not Authorized
• Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA): Exempt
• Financial Disclosure: Not Required
• Telework Eligibility: Supervisors may approve situational telework on a case-by-case, temporary basis for limited situations.
• If selected, the incumbent must obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance as indicated in job announcement.
• It is a requirement to be certified within six months of the appointment date (if not already certified) in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M for IAM Level III and IAT Level II.
• Incumbent must possess the legal and personal qualifications to operate passenger-type motor vehicle.
