Job summary

ME 101st Communications Squadron, National Guard seeks an IT Specialist to manage the Wing's IT and communications environment, providing secure voice, data, and CFP services to units and tenants. The role requires handling IA controls and ensuring system reliability.

The candidate will install, analyze, and upgrade hardware/software, perform trouble shooting, and deliver customer-focused support across the unit, GSUs, and tenants. A security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with IT/communications systems in a military environment.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve IT and communications issues for users.
• Familiarity with information assurance policies and practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT/communications environment with privileged network access for Wing and units.
• Provide customer technical assistance and support to users to ensure minimal interruptions.
• Coordinate upgrades and new hardware/software while ensuring compatibility with existing architecture.
