Job summary

Amazon seeks a seasoned IT SOX and ITGC controls professional to drive the global IT SOX program within GFRC. You will collaborate with engineering, accounting, and business teams to design, implement, and monitor controls across complex systems, ensuring alignment with COSO 2013 and SEC/PCAOB expectations.

The role emphasizes control design, testing, remediation, and interaction with external auditors. Strong communication and cross-functional partnership are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Execute IT SOX control strategies and maintain program policies.
• Deep dives on IT process areas to define risks and controls for financial reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement of IT SOX program through risk assessment updates.
• Support quarterly 302 sub-certification and related reporting.
• Assist in evaluating control deficiencies and tracking remediation efforts.
