Job summary

Bright Horizons is offering a remote, paid internship in the United States for students pursuing MIS/IT related degrees. You will join the Internal Audit team to gain real-world experience applying your studies and data skills in a corporate setting.

Responsibilities include providing administrative and audit support, automating meeting invites, assisting with SOX ITGC testing, collecting workpapers, and using AI and data engineering tools to strengthen testing and evidence collection.

Qualifications

• HS diploma required.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in MIS, IT, Software Engineering, Data Science or related discipline.
• Completed at least the junior year of undergraduate study.
• Demonstrated interest in auditing, accounting, financial reporting and mgmt.

Primary Purpose:

Offer students a period of paid practical experience in the industry relating to their field of study. This experience is valuable to students as a means of allowing them to experience how their studies are applied in the \"real world\", as work experience.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative and audit support to the Internal Audit team.

Minimum Qualifications:

• HS diploma required.


• Must be enrolled as either a full time or part time student.


• Pursuing a Bachelor\'s degree in Management information system, IT, Software Engineering, Data Science or a related discipline.


• Completed at least the junior year of undergraduate study.


• Demonstrated interest in auditing, accounting, financial reporting and mgmt.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fundamental knowledge of management information systems, information system hierarchy, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity.


• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with stakeholders at all levels.


• Proficiency in Coding with at least two of the languages among python, java script, Java, SQL, R, Json, C#.


• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize competing deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.


• Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify issues, evaluate information, and support sound conclusions.


• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team environment.


• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies, tools, and business processes.


• Experience using AI-powered tools to improve productivity, perform data analysis, or automate routine tasks is preferred.


• Experience developing, configuring, or utilizing AI agents and workflow automation solutions is a plus.

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is between $13.00-$35.00 The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
