Job summary

Chain IQ seeks a Head of Sourcing IT for the US to lead a global IT strategic sourcing team from Jersey City. You will drive complex negotiations, shape category strategies, and partner with CIOs/CTOs across multinational clients to deliver value and risk mitigation.

This leadership role requires 6+ years in IT sourcing, 3-5+ years of people leadership, and a track record of executive stakeholder management.

Qualifications

6+ years of IT sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or related experience.
3-5+ years of people leadership experience.
Proven track record managing high-performing sourcing teams.
Extensive experience leading strategic sourcing initiatives and large-scale negotiations.
Experience in multinational and multi-client environments.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop a team of Strategic Sourcers and Senior Strategic Sourcers.
Conduct performance reviews, development discussions, and succession planning.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of sourcing talent.
Foster a high-performance culture focused on client value, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Mentor team members on sourcing strategies, negotiation techniques, stakeholder management, and category expertise.
Drive knowledge sharing and best-practice adoption across IT sourcing.
Promote employee engagement and development opportunities.
