Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on software development or IT solution delivery.
• Experience integrating enterprise systems and translating business needs into measurable software solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, REST APIs, Git, and code repositories.
• Proven experience building and deploying production AI or large language model applications.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with business leaders and plant teams to learn processes and identify solvable problems.
• Lead discovery, process mapping, and requirements gathering; translate needs into clear use cases and designs.
• Recommend the right approach—agentic AI, automation, custom software, integration, or packaged solution—based on value, risk, and supportability.
• Design, build, test, and deploy backend apps, APIs, integrations, and agentic workflows delivering business outcomes.
• Build with Anthropic Claude and MCP, including agents, tools, connectors, scheduled jobs, and secure data access.
• Integrate solutions with Oracle EBS, Salesforce, Propel PLM, Microsoft 365, Power BI, and related platforms.
• Own solutions from prototype through production and ongoing support, including testing, deployment, documentation, adoption, and monitoring.
• Manage technologies, repos, environments, and controlled changes to ensure reliability.
• Manage vendors and partners, communicating progress, risks, and results in business terms.

Job description

The IT Solutions Manager is equal parts business analyst and hands-on developer, partnering closely with Crenlo's functional leaders and plant teams. The role learns how the business operates, identifies high-value needs, and translates them into practical software, automation, and agentic AI solutions.

This role owns the path from business discovery through backend delivery: defining requirements and outcomes, designing the solution, building integrations and AI applications, and deploying secure, supportable products. The technical focus is backend development with strong emphasis on Anthropic Claude and the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

Key Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with business leaders and plant teams, learn their processes, and identify problems worth solving
• Lead discovery, process mapping, and requirements gathering; translate business needs into clear use cases, workflows, technical designs, and measurable outcomes
• Recommend the right approach—including agentic AI, automation, custom software, integration, or a packaged solution—based on value, risk, and supportability
• Design, build, test, and deploy backend applications, APIs, integrations, and agentic workflows that deliver the agreed business outcome
• Build extensively with Anthropic Claude and MCP, including agents, tools, connectors, scheduled jobs, and secure access to enterprise data
• Integrate solutions with Oracle EBS, Salesforce, Propel PLM, Microsoft 365, Power BI, and related platforms
• Own solutions from prototype through production and ongoing support, including testing, deployment, documentation, adoption, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
• Manage and maintain the technologies supporting these solutions, including code repositories, version control, environment configuration, controlled configuration changes, and production reliability
• Manage technology vendors and development partners in this space, including evaluation, scope, coordination, performance, cost, and delivery, while communicating progress, tradeoffs, risks, and results in business terms

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of hands-on software development or IT solution delivery
• Experience integrating enterprise systems and translating business needs into measurable software solutions
• Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, REST APIs, Git, and code repositories
• Proven experience building and deploying production AI or large language model applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep experience with Anthropic Claude and MCP
• Modern cloud deployment, managed database, serverless, and CI/CD experience
• Experience with Oracle EBS, Salesforce, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Fabric, or Power BI
• Manufacturing or industrial experience
• Business problem solver who communicates clearly with plant teams, leaders, and vendors
• Hands-on builder who moves quickly from discovery to a useful, supportable solution
• Organized, collaborative, and disciplined about documentation and follow-through
• Sound judgment on AI security, data access, accuracy, and responsible use

Working Conditions

• Based in Bentonville, AR, with up to 20% travel between Crenlo facilities
• Exposure to manufacturing floor environments
• Occasional after-hours work for releases and production support
