IT Solutions Engineer (Remote - United States)

Join to apply for the IT Solutions Engineer (Remote - United States) role at Hexagon Asset Lifecycle Intelligence.

This is a remote position based in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize IT infrastructure, including FORTRA File-Catalyst administration on Azure.
• Support Linux Ubuntu 16+ systems with Apache Tomcat, including updates, firewall configuration, and testing.
• Oversee Hyper-V clusters, virtual machines, storage, and user access.
• Develop PowerShell scripts for automation and troubleshooting.
• Manage website content using Visual Studio Code or PowerShell.
• Configure and manage IIS, web applications, and user access controls.
• Administer SQL Servers, including database setup, backups, and performance monitoring.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues proactively.
• Provide training and technical support to team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Certifications in Azure, SQL Server, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, cloud, databases, and automation.
• Experience with FORTRA File-Catalyst, Web Workflow systems on Azure, Linux Ubuntu 20.04.
• Proficiency in SQL scripting, PowerShell, Hyper-V, vCenter, and networking protocols.
• Experience with VMware/vCenter, system monitoring tools, and API integration.
• Preference for candidates in North Alabama.
