Job summary

VT Group (VTG) seeks an IT SETA SME in Chantilly, VA. The role supports a multinational AI project by providing IT and cybersecurity SME guidance and advising leadership on cost, schedule, performance, and risk. Strong communication, JIRA/Confluence usage, and MS Office proficiency are essential.

The candidate will advise on IT infrastructure design, power, space, cooling, and licensing, while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and meet security requirements for USG/SAIC-led efforts.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship and an active TS/SCI with CI polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field with 9+ years experience, or Master’s with 7+ years.
• Hands-on experience with AI, DevOps/DevSecOps in agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT and cybersecurity support to the customer as part of a multinational AI project.
• Provide SME guidance on IT networking, security, auditing, and emerging IT/cyber tech (including AI).
• Advise leadership on cost, schedule, performance and risk for planned initiatives.
• Advise on maximizing IT efficiency across power, space, cooling, hardware, software and licensing.
• Identify and represent customer AI/IT/cyber equities in evaluating impacts to IT security requirements.
