What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide security services to development teams including code scanning, readiness testing, and penetration testing
- Engage early in the software development lifecycle using a risk-based methodology
- Collaborate with teams to define and implement the NIS 5-year security roadmap
- Analyze application security vulnerabilities and execute mitigation strategies
- Uphold professional and technical standards while delivering quality services
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred in relevant fields such as Information Technology or Computer Engineering
- 1-3 years of experience in software development or application security engineering
- Strong understanding of application architectural patterns and security principles
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present to senior leadership
- Knowledge of the OWASP Top 10 and experience with application security solutions
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Continuous Integration/Testing/Delivery (CI/CD)
- Experience with cloud architecture and services such as AWS or Azure
- Understanding of penetration testing tools like Metasploit and Burp Suite
- Knowledge of commercial Source Code Analysis/Static Application Security Testing Tools
- Passion for innovation in application security and technology solutions
