About the role
As an IT PMO Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that IT projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while aligning with business objectives, governance standards, and IT strategies. The role involves managing teams, coordinating resources, and providing visibility into project performance through reporting and partner engagement.
You will report to the Sr Manager, IT PMO Operational Excellence Lead and be located at Cranberry Township, PA. This position is remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring understanding of our priorities. Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, timelines, and resource needs. Use Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies to guide project success.
- Guide communication between IT, business teams, and leadership, ensuring clear project goals. Manage partner expectations and guarantee project alignment on our goals.
- Monitor project budgets and ensure cost‑effective execution. Coordinate with IT PMO, finance, and resource managers for proper staffing and financial tracking.
- Identify potential project risks, ensuring minimal impact on timelines. Also ensure compliance with IT governance policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate and collaborate with business relationship managers, project lead, and business lead on project prioritization and resource management.
- Guide IT PMO and IT portfolio performance through development, tracking, and reporting of performance metrics.
- Coordinate with IT Managers on IT resource demand and capacity tracking and analysis to promote work prioritization, resource allocation, and overall decision‑making.
- Collaborate with IT leaders to resolve issues and discrepancies related to project priority and resource allocation.
Qualifications
- BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of portfolio or project management experience.
- PMP certification.
- Proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management approaches.
- Experience with project management tools such as MS Project Online and ServiceNow.
- Understanding of budget tracking, forecasting, and risk mitigation.

The base salary range for this position, dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills, is estimated to be $103,200 to $129,000 per year.
