Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with support and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and software (Citrix, MS Office, financial programs).
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11, Office 365, Active Directory, Azure AD, SCCM, Exchange, and Intune.
  • Experience with trading applications (Bloomberg, BrokerTec, MarketAxess, ICAP, BGC, FIS, etc.) or financial market support, and familiarity with Citrix, VMware, Cisco Phone System, IPC, and Identity Access Management (IAM).
  • Knowledge of French is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems, implementing mitigation and contingency plans as needed.

  • Support users in utilizing collaboration tools, such as Office 365 applications, and proactively suggest innovative ways to improve productivity.
  • Assess and recommend improvements for new technology implementations, participating in analyses to identify and resolve potential issues within the Financial Markets/Trading ecosystem.
  • Participate in regulatory audits, project analysis, and maintain compliance by helping to create and update documentation, ensuring data integrity and system stability.

A career as a Senior IT Analyst at National Bank means being part of a specialized user environment management team that provides advanced technical services and on-site support to Financial Markets and Trading employees as well as branch employees located remotely. You will promote the growth of these sectors in line with their business objectives by analyzing and understanding their needs. This is a regular full-time position located in New York, NY. Schedule: Full-time with rotating on/call support after hours/weekends.

Your job
  • Be the on-site point of contact for all the IT-related issues encountered by onsite and remote users and provide advanced end-to-end technical support to resolve simple and complex computer issues
  • Collaborate with IT teams to promptly resolve issues and support technology rollouts
  • Follow up with users and business partners to ensure needs are met and provide guidance on optimizing solutions and processes

Your team

The IT and Operations sector is made up of more than 5500 proactive, collaborative experts who work with agility to seize opportunities, stay on the cutting edge of technology, and continuously improve our processes. You will work alongside the Desktop Support Analysts and deliver customer-focused support to all financial market employees onsite at our New York Office and support staff working remotely. You’ll report to the Senior Manager of IT Support.

Prerequisites
  • Bachelor’s or another degree with 4-6 years of end user support experience at level 2
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication abilities, including explaining technical concepts in plain language
  • Proven problem-solving skills for complex technical issues from diverse sources
  • Hands-on experience with support and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and software (Citrix, MS Office, financial programs)
