Job summary

The Peoria Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma is seeking an IT & Security Specialist to provide technical support, administration, and cybersecurity expertise across tribal locations. You will design, implement, and maintain technology infrastructure, evaluate issues, and ensure reliable IT operations.

Responsibilities include managing servers, network infrastructure, MFA, endpoint security, camera and access control systems, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 3+ years of IT experience.
• Experience administering or supporting enterprise technology systems.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between Tribal facilities.
• Ability to pass background investigations for access to sensitive tribal information systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced IT and cybersecurity support to Tribal staff.
• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, network infrastructure, and endpoints.
• Install, configure, and support hardware, software, OS, and endpoint management.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and authentication systems.
• Implement cybersecurity initiatives, including MFA and endpoint security.
• Maintain documentation and communicate with vendors.
• Support camera and access control systems and other security technologies.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and propose improvements.
