The IT Security Manager will have the unique opportunity of crafting a global security program from the ground up for a $5B distributor. The Security Manager willenterprise network security controls and processes that support risk management, operational controls, and governance processes.

In addition:

• Research, recommend, and develop strategies to mitigate risks in areas such as business continuity planning, loss prevention, privacy and fraud prevention, and compliance.
• Collaborate with internal management to define security and compliance policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.
• Disseminate written policies and procedures, ensuring specific details regarding security plans and policies are documented, tested, and communicated.
• Implement and manage approved plans, policies, standards, guidelines and procedures.
• Implement new programs to continually ensure or improve and guide the effectiveness of IT risk management and protection strategies.
