Job summary

Platinum Dermatology Partners LLC is seeking an IT Security Manager to own day-to-day security operations, configure and secure our multi-site cybersecurity infrastructure, and drive a scalable security program. The role requires hands-on expertise in XDR, MDR, SOC operations, SIEM administration, endpoint and cloud security, and governance for AI-enabled security tools.

You will investigate alerts, lead incident responses, and coordinate with external partners when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information security, cybersecurity, information systems, or related field is required.
• 5–10 years hands-on cybersecurity experience with healthcare/regulated environments preferred.
• Direct experience operating SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel) and XDR/MDR tools.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA security requirements and healthcare data protection.
• Experience securing cloud environments (Azure, AWS) and 365 suite.
• Familiarity with incident response, threat hunting, and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

• Lead real-time incident triage, containment, and post-incident analysis.
• Operate SIEM/XDR/MDR platforms across multiple sites and coordinate remediation.
• Drive incident response playbooks and maintain documentation for executive summaries.
• Conduct threat hunting using MITRE ATT&CK methodologies and improve detection.

This role is hands-on and execution focused, owning day to day security operations while building a scalable security program.The ideal candidate has strong technical depth in XDR, MDR, SOC operations, SIEM administration, endpoint security, cloud security, and AI-enabled security tools.
