Job summary

Textron in Augusta, GA is seeking a 2027 IT Security Intern (343202) to gain hands-on experience on real projects within the IT department, contributing to security initiatives and analytics.

You will assist with daily activities, documentation, and automation, learning PLM, Salesforce, TSV systems, and CMBD connections, while working under experienced professionals during a 10-week summer program.

Qualifications

• Pursing Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• Proficiency with Excel is preferred.
• Exposure to ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist IT department with daily tasks and special projects.
• Develop an automated scorecard to balance TSV goals.
• Document TSV environment and CMBD connections.
• Work with PLM systems to update Teamcenter scripts and reports.
• Develop and implement TSV customizations.
• Learn Salesforce platform and admin tools.
• Understand change control in Salesforce and implement production changes.
• Implement changes to reduce manual processes.
• Gain exposure to business needs by implementing new processes and technologies.
• Support Infrastructure, Security, SAP, PLM or Analytics as needed.
