Are you a skilled IT Security Engineer looking to make a real impact? We're seeking a proactive security professional to lead and strengthen corporate security within a dynamic organisation. This is an opportunity to own security operations, mitigate threats, and ensure compliance with key industry standards like ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS while securing networks, systems, and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

? Design, implement, and maintain IT security policies and controls across networks, endpoints, and cloud environments.
? Monitor and respond to security incidents, vulnerabilities, and threats in real time.
? Work closely with IT teams to enhance security configurations and manage patching effectively.
? Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and penetration testing to identify and resolve threats.
? Oversee security tools such as SIEM, EDR, DLP, MFA, and firewalls for enhanced protection.
? Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks, including ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, and GDPR.
? Provide security awareness training to employees and enforce best practices across the business.

What We're Looking For

???? Proven experience in corporate IT security, including endpoint, network, and cloud security.
???? Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat landscapes, and risk management.
???? Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for security operations.
???? Hands-on expertise with security technologies: SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and firewalls.
???? Knowledge of Microsoft security tools (Defender, Sentinel, Azure Security Center) is a plus.
???? Experience with incident response, vulnerability management, and security best practices.
???? Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and CIS.
???? Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security+ are highly desirable.
