Job summary

INTRUST Bank is seeking an Information Technology Security Engineer to strengthen security across our IT environment. The role focuses on reducing the attack surface, hardening systems and protecting sensitive data in a fast-paced banking setting.

The candidate will implement security controls, monitor threats, and develop solutions to identify and remediate vulnerabilities while maintaining confidentiality and collaboration with IT and business teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of IT Security experience in a medium to large enterprise network preferred.
• Specialized experience with Windows domains and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Apply critical thinking to detect and resolve cybersecurity issues.
• Engineer, implement, and monitor security measures for IT systems and networks.
• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities and threats.
• Develop and document security procedures and incident response.
• Coordinate security patching and identity/access management.
• Prepare comprehensive security reports and participate in on-call rotations.
